Are you an experienced Material Handler looking for a new challenge in Houston, Texas? We are seeking a dedicated individual to manage the movement of goods within our distribution center. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials efficiently and safely. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our **logistics** operations. You will operate various types of equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, and must be proficient in handling different types of materials. Adherence to strict **safety** protocols and the correct use of **PPE** are non-negotiable. The job involves regular **Lifting** of items, so physical strength and stamina are required. We are committed to providing a secure working environment and expect all team members to prioritize **safety**. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and works well under pressure. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials.
- Move materials to and from designated areas using appropriate equipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely.
- Perform **Lifting** and stacking of materials, some of which can be heavy.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and assist with stock checks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, following **safety** guidelines.
- Strictly adhere to all **PPE** requirements.
- Support **logistics** operations by ensuring timely movement of goods.
- Inspect equipment for proper functioning and report any defects.
- Follow all **safety** procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
