We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator for our Washington, D.C. facility. In this essential role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and transporting goods throughout the warehouse. A valid forklift certification and a proven track record of safe operation are required. You will work closely with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders and manage inventory. Adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory. This position requires a strong understanding of forklift operation, material handling, and warehouse safety procedures. The ability to perform routine checks on equipment and report any issues is also important. While your primary focus is operating the forklift, you may also be involved in other warehouse tasks as needed, including some lifting and physical work.
