Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our Phoenix, Arizona warehouse. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory accuracy and control. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, performing physical inventory audits, reconciling discrepancies, and investigating root causes of inventory variances. You will also be involved in optimizing warehouse layout and storage methods to improve efficiency and minimize loss. Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail are essential for success in this position. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable. This role contributes significantly to the overall effectiveness of our logistics operations, ensuring that we have accurate stock levels to meet customer demand. While this role may not involve as much direct Lifting as other warehouse positions, a general understanding of warehouse processes and the importance of maintaining a safe environment is necessary. Adherence to all Safety procedures and the appropriate use of PPE when applicable is expected. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures
  • Monitor stock levels and identify slow-moving or obsolete items
  • Assist with receiving and shipping to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement
