We are seeking a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our busy logistics facility in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our order fulfillment process. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from inventory based on order specifications and meticulously packing them for safe transit. This position demands a keen eye for detail, speed, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You will work within a team to meet daily targets and uphold our high standards of quality. The role involves navigating the warehouse, using scanning devices, and handling products with care. Frequent lifting of items is part of the daily routine. Compliance with all company safety regulations and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential. This is a great opportunity to contribute to our growing logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order sheets or scanners.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack products securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment goals.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving lifting up to 35 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory procedures.
- Commitment to workplace safety and wearing PPE.
- Reliable and punctual.
