We are hiring a Fulfillment Associate for our bustling Houston, Texas distribution center. This role is integral to our e-commerce logistics, focusing on efficiently processing and preparing customer orders for shipment. You will be responsible for picking items from inventory, accurately packing them for transit, and ensuring all orders meet our quality standards. This position demands speed, accuracy, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. Daily tasks include navigating the warehouse to locate products, using scanning equipment, and meticulously packing items to prevent damage. Frequent lifting of products up to 40 lbs is required. We emphasize a safe working environment, and all associates must consistently wear the provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using a pick list or scanner.
- Pack products securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Inspect items for quality before packing.
- Process and label outgoing shipments.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Contribute to overall team goals for order fulfillment speed and accuracy.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving lifting up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or similar role is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items throughout the shift.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory practices.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and wearing PPE.
