You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, selecting items based on pick lists or scanner data, and preparing them for packing and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse stock using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify product information against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as required.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of warehouse logistics.
- Ability to perform lifting of items up to 40 lbs consistently.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and logistics principles.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
