In this essential role, you will be responsible for the movement, organization, and management of materials throughout our warehouse facility. Key duties include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory control. A strong commitment to safety is non-negotiable; all team members must adhere to rigorous safety standards and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate is physically fit, possesses excellent stamina, and has experience operating various material handling equipment. You should be able to perform tasks requiring significant lifting and manual dexterity. This position plays a vital role in the efficiency of our supply chain and requires an individual who is reliable, efficient, and works well within a team environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated warehouse areas.
- Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and continuous physical labor.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is highly desirable.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and strenuous tasks.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and logistics operations.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
