We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to enhance our logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring secure placement of goods.
- Move inventory to and from storage areas, racks, and production areas.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Assist with receiving and shipping functions as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to warehouse layout and safety standards.
- Accurately document inventory movements and activities.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including the safe operation of equipment and the use of required PPE.
- Participate in training sessions to improve skills and safety awareness.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA compliant).
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
