Dishwasher

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As the dishwasher you are the backbone of the entire restaurant. You are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within the restaurant. Duties include, but are not limited to: sorting, rinsing, and loading dirty dishes, glasses, flat and serving ware into the dish machine, delivering clean dishes to the appropriate kitchen storage and service stations, waste removal, sweeping, mopping, dusting and to assist with restaurant and bathroom cleaning as directed.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, and ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: 

Required : Mobility and dexterity to move large, heavy objects up to 100 pounds. Manual dexterity to include using kitchen utensils and handling of food items. Must be able to tolerate industry standard chemicals used for cleaning and sanitizing. Able to work at a fast pace. Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.

Preferred:  High School Diploma or GED.

This is a non-exempt hourly position. Johnny Sanchez is a drug free workplace.
