EH&S Specialist

The EHS Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations at facility operations. This role involves implementing environmental and safety programs, conducting audits, and coordinating maintenance activities to create a safe and efficient work environment.

• Develop and implement Environmental policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular EHS inspections and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Coordinate emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate records of Air Quality, Water, Waste, SWPPP/NPDES, and SPCC permits, EHS training, incidents, and prepare reports for regulatory agencies.
• Collaborate with management to improve workplace safety culture.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Occupational Safety, Facilities Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS and facilities management.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and environmental regulations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Understanding of EHS laws and regulations.
• Risk assessment and hazard analysis.
• Emergency preparedness and response.
• Project management and scheduling.
• Proficiency in MS Office and EHS software tools.

• Adherence to OSHA, EPA, and local safety regulations.
• Regular review and update of safety protocols.
• Documentation of all safety incidents and corrective actions.
• Continuous improvement through audits and employee feedback.
