Job Description
We are seeking experienced pipe layers for deep trench utility work involving active dewatering systems (storm, sewer, and water). This position requires working in deep, confined trench environments, often around existing utilities and groundwater conditions.

This role is not entry-level. We are looking for pipe layers who want to be part of a company — not just another job — and who take pride in their work, safety, and production. There is no limit to moving up within the company for individuals who are motivated, dependable, and consistently perform.

Minimum Requirements (Required)

· Minimum of 5 years pipe laying experience in underground utilities

· Proven experience installing storm, sewer, and water pipe

· Experience setting up, aligning, and operating a pipe laser to maintain line and grade

· Experience working in deep trench conditions with active dewatering systems

· Experience with trench boxes, shoring systems, and trench safety practices

· Ability to read and understand plans, grades, and elevations

· Experience working around existing utilities and structures

· Prompt, reliable, and on-time attendance is mandatory

· Strong work ethic and professional jobsite behavior required

· Reliable transportation

· Ability to provide professional references covering the most recent 5 years of employment with local utility contractors or municipal utility organizations

o References must be work-related and supervisory or managerial

o Personal, family, or non-professional references will not be accepted

Responsibilities

· Install storm, sewer, and water mains to line and grade

· Set pipe, fittings, and structures accurately

· Work closely with excavator operators, foremen, and dewatering crews

· Maintain trench safety and jobsite awareness at all times

· Assist with dewatering operations as required

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

· Confined Space Certification

· MOT (Maintenance of Traffic) Certification

· CDL
