Job Summary
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Responsibilities

  • Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients when needed.
  • Support the cleaning of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to maintain a spotless environment.
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling processes according to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy service times to ensure all dishware is available for use without delay.
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold sanitation standards and prevent cross-contamination.
  • Assist with setting up banquet or catering events by providing clean dishware and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and food handling safety protocols.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy loads of dishes or equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and organization.
  • Excellent teamwork skills; able to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
