Job Title:
Solution Architect – RPM Application (React, , Healthcare Compliance)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Architect to lead the design and development of a scalable, secure, and compliant Healthcare application. The ideal candidate will architect both frontend and backend solutions using React and , and ensure all systems adhere to HIPAA, FHIR, and CMS regulatory requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, security professionals, and clinical subject matter experts. Key Responsibilities:
  • Architecture & Design
    • Lead the end-to-end architecture and technical design of the Healthcare platform, covering both backend ) and frontend (React).
    • Define application structure, data models, integration points, and user interfaces.
    • Ensure scalability, high availability, and reliability across all modules.
  • Healthcare Compliance
    • Embed HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) security and privacy principles into application design.
    • Architect APIs and data exchange using FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) standards for patient data interoperability.
    • Ensure all modules, workflows, and documentation comply with CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) requirements for Healthcare and related programs.
  • Development Oversight
    • Set coding standards, technical guidelines, and best practices for frontend and backend teams.
    • Evaluate and select frameworks, libraries, and third-party tools to accelerate development while maintaining compliance.
    • Perform code and architecture reviews to ensure quality and regulatory alignment.
  • Security & Data Privacy
    • Design secure authentication, authorization, and audit mechanisms.
    • Oversee data encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and secure API design.
    • Implement and enforce policies for data retention, consent management, and breach notification.
  • Collaboration & Leadership
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
    • Guide development, QA, DevOps, and clinical teams to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions.
    • Mentor engineers on healthcare data handling, compliance, and interoperability standards.
  • Documentation & Communication
    • Prepare technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, compliance checklists, and API specs.
    • Communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 15+ years of software development experience, with 10+ years in an architect role.
  • Proven experience architecting applications with React (frontend) and (backend).
  • Strong expertise in HIPAA, FHIR, and CMScompliance for healthcare software.
  • Experience integrating with EHRs, remote monitoring devices, and healthcare APIs.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD best practices.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and other healthcare authentication standards.
  • Familiarity with medical device data formats and remote device integration.
  • Prior experience building or scaling Healthcare or telehealth applications.
