Job Description

Ability Solutions Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver to join our Day Services team. This role supports adults with developmental disabilities in both a structured facility-based program and in the community.

This position offers consistent weekday hours (30+ hours/week) with no evenings or weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Support individuals with developmental disabilities during daily activities at the facility
• Assist with community-based activities such as volunteering, recreation, and outings
• Promote independence, choice, and person-centered supports
• Provide assistance with daily living activities as needed
• Follow individual support and behavior plans
• Ensure health and safety at all times
• Complete basic documentation and daily notes
• Communicate professionally with participants, families, and team members

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred (training provided)
• Reliable transportation required for community outings
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Must pass a Wisconsin caregiver background check

Schedule & Hours

• Monday–Friday
• Morning/day shift
• 30+ hours per week
• No evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts
