Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist or CT technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Duties

  • Perform MRI scans on patients, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and aseptic techniques.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
  • Position patients correctly and utilize appropriate imaging techniques to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to evaluate images and assist in diagnostic evaluations.
  • Maintain equipment functionality through regular checks and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Document patient information accurately, including medical history and imaging results.
  • Stay updated on advancements in MRI technology.

Experience

  • A minimum of an associate degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Certification in MRI technology from an accredited organization is essential.
  • Previous experience in medical imaging, particularly MRI, is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation processes is crucial.
  • Familiarity with additional imaging modalities such as CT or DEXA scans is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
