Experienced Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage service, excellent customer service skills, and proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha and Micros. This role involves preparing and serving drinks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly valued. The successful candidate will thrive in a hospitality setting that emphasizes quality service, efficiency, and teamwork.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to standard recipes and customer preferences
• Operate POS systems including Aloha and Micros for order processing, billing, and cash handling
• Manage multiple drink orders efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and enhance their overall experience
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area, glassware, and utensils in compliance with food safety standards
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
• Follow all food safety regulations related to beverage handling and serving alcohol
• Assist with event setups such as banquets or catering functions when required
• Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during busy hours

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards related to beverage service and food handling
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and inventory management
• Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local laws and regulations
• Familiarity with retail math for sales tracking and inventory control
• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector preferred
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the venue's schedule
