Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage service, excellent customer service skills, and proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha and Micros. This role involves preparing and serving drinks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly valued. The successful candidate will thrive in a hospitality setting that emphasizes quality service, efficiency, and teamwork.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Operate POS systems including Aloha and Micros for order processing, billing, and cash handling
- Manage multiple drink orders efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and enhance their overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness of bar area, glassware, and utensils in compliance with food safety standards
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Follow all food safety regulations related to beverage handling and serving alcohol
- Assist with event setups such as banquets or catering functions when required
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during busy hours
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards related to beverage service and food handling
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and inventory management
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local laws and regulations
- Familiarity with retail math for sales tracking and inventory control
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector preferred
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the venue's schedule
