JOB DESCRIPTION

The Optometric Technician is the first point of contact for patients and is an integral part of our practice. You are the face of the organization and a cheerful and professional demeanor is implicit. Optometric Technician's typically see the patient before the optometrist and are responsible for preparing the patient for the exam by collecting background information and performing diagnostic tests and measurements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather medical records and patient information.

• Provide exemplary patient service.

• Perform basic ocular tests and measurements.

• Maintain and clean optometric instruments and equipment.

• Assist the optometrist in basic procedures.

• Greet patients, answer the phones, and schedule appointments.
