MRI Technologist

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an MRI Technologist for a permanent opportunity in Panama City, Florida.

The MRI Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and image quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

• Operate MRI and radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

• Apply knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI imaging techniques including head, neck, body, MSK, and spine.

• Ensure images are processed, organized, and archived accurately within PACS.

• Maintain compliance with safety standards, radiation protection principles, and departmental policies.

• Provide patient-centered care to adult and geriatric populations.

• Participate in on-call coverage as required.

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range (Based on Experience)

• 0–5 years: $32.00 – $37.00/hour

• 5–9 years: $38.00 – $40.00/hour

• 10+ years: $40.50 – $44.00/hour

Additional Pay & Differentials

• Night shift differential: $5.00/hour

• Weekend shift differential: $5.00/hour

• Call-back pay: 2-hour minimum at time and a half

Sign-On Bonus

• $5,000 sign-on bonus

Additional Information

• Active Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license for the position you are applying for.

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and MRI (MR) REQUIRED.

• Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology required.

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required; 3 years preferred.

• Strong knowledge of MRI imaging principles and cross-sectional anatomy.

• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification required.

• Ability to participate in on-call rotation.
