Lakeland HR Solutions is growing, and we are excited to add another Recruiter to our team Based out of Bonnyville, AB, Lakeland HR Solutions has proudly served the Lakeland region since 2017, providing a wide range of customizable Human Resource solutions tailored to organizational needs.


This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive compensation, a flexible schedule, and a supportive team-oriented environment.


The Recruiter plays a critical role in attracting and hiring top talent. This position is responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and supporting clients through the hiring process.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and evaluate applications received through the recruiting database and pre-screen qualified candidates.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify job specifications, duties, qualifications, and required skills.

  • Conduct regular follow-ups with hiring managers to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.

  • Schedule and conduct candidate interviews.

  • Communicate with applicants regarding application status, consideration, and selection.

  • Source candidates using social media and professional networking platforms.

  • Create job descriptions and post job advertisements.

  • Conduct reference and background checks.

  • Stay up to date with Human Rights and Employment Standards legislation.

  • Attend career fairs for recruitment and company representation.

  • Participate in additional projects as assigned.

  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recruitment experience is considered an asset.

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.

  • CPHR designation is considered an asset.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.

  • Strong professionalism and communication skills.

  • Innovative thinker with the ability to develop and utilize new recruitment sources.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Highly detail-oriented.
