Job Purpose or Summary: 

The Project Procurement Manager (PPM) is responsible for the timely flow of 3rd party fabricated equipment and contract site activities as well as maintaining project schedules according to the procurement plan. Key responsibilities include issuing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers and internal departments like project management and procurement, monitoring and resolving delivery delays, and communicating progress and potential issues to management. This position is vital for maintaining the integrity of the supply chain and ensuring the project meets the high standards expected by customers and stakeholders.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with the required quality standards.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Selection, qualification, and management of 3rd party "qualified" fabricators for hygienic process systems – tanks, manifolds, skids, and platforms.
  • Selection, qualification, and management of 3rd party mechanical installers for hygienic process systems.
  • Selection, qualification, and management of 3rd party electrical, controls and pneumatics installers for hygienic process systems.
  • Manage RFP process including bid package.
  • Manage bid evaluation process – includes bid benchmarking so we are confident all scope is understood / accounted for.
  • Understand project commercial terms and cascade down / negotiate procurement terms based on main contract terms including
