Mold Technician

Summary: As a Mold Technician in the Mold Repair & Assembly area, you will play a key role in assembling, maintaining, and refurbishing blow molds and related components. Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform a full range of tool work with a focus on mold assembly, maintenance, and repair.
• Operate all manual machine tools, hand tools, and related equipment safely and effectively.
• Assemble, fit, and inspect mold components to meet engineering specifications.
• Identify, plan, and implement mold repair improvements that enhance quality and productivity.
• Verify machined parts for conformance using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, electronic gauges, etc.).
• Conduct final fitting and inspection of subassemblies and components prior to release.
• Collaborate with team members by sharing technical expertise and supporting shop-wide best practices.
• Protect machines and tools by adhering to proper operating procedures.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
