Quality Spplier Engineer - Manufacturing 

A leading materials manufacturer is hiring a Quality Engineer to strengthen supplier quality performance and drive continuous improvement across production operations. This role offers the opportunity to lead root cause investigations, partner directly with suppliers and internal teams, and influence manufacturing and process quality at a site with strong leadership support for quality excellence. You will work with a broad range of technologies, contribute to system improvements, and play a visible role in ensuring product performance for major customers. If you are driven by problem solving, data, and process improvement, this position offers a chance to make a direct impact while growing your expertise in a complex manufacturing environment.

DUTIES:

  • Complete analytical and problem solving projects
  • Communicate with all levels of the organization, suppliers, and customers
  • Lead change, influence improvements, and manage multiple projects
  • Be accountable and maintain a sense of urgency
  • Leverage your organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Collaborate across functions
  • Proactively identify risks, anticipate issues, and develop solutions

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality or a related field
  • A Background in quality engineering, preferably in extrusion, textiles, or paper manufacturing
  • Strong statistical analysis capability, including experience with Excel and Minitab
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and internal auditing
  • Experience with Six Sigma problem solving, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions
  • Familiarity with supplier quality systems, supplier audits, and nonconforming material disposition
  • Ability to support validation activities and develop protocols for processes and test methods
