We are seeking an experienced, organized, and versatile Housekeeper to oversee the impeccable upkeep and smooth management of a private residence located in Outremont. The selected candidate will ensure a clean, orderly, and comfortable environment while preparing the evening meal.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Housekeeping & Organization
- Maintain the general cleanliness of commonly used areas (surface cleaning, dusting, floor cleaning).
- Perform deep cleaning, including bathrooms, showers, oven, terrace, and balconies.
- Keep the home tidy and ensure all living spaces are well organized.
- Make beds and change linens as needed.
- Organize and rotate items in the refrigerator and pantry.
- Sort and store seasonal clothing; prepare clothing for the family chalet.
- Maintain and organize wardrobes and ensure personal items are always in order.
- Care for furniture and delicate surfaces.
- Sort, wash, and iron clothing.
- Perform minor repairs and ensure overall garment maintenance.
- Prepare the daily evening meal (ready to be reheated).
- Greet and supervise contractors during work or service visits at the residence.
- Manage waste and recycling.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper for a private household.
- Must enjoy cooking and be able to prepare simple, healthy meals.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Discreet, reliable, and professional.
- Ability to manage priorities and work independently.
- Must be comfortable with the presence of a dog.
