The physical therapist is responsible for all aspects of evaluation, documentation and treatment of patients on their schedule.
Qualifications
The physical therapist must have completed a degree in physical therapy and posses a valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Tennessee. At Patterson Physical Therapy we offer a variety of specialty therapies that work together to treat the patient from a holistic mindset. Our specialties include pelvic floor therapy, vestibular therapy, manual therapy, dry needling, orthopedic/sports medicine, lymphedema therapy, and Schroth Scoliosis therapy. We are looking for someone who wants to treat patients one on one for an hour and will be trained or have training in one or more of these specialty areas. *Duties include but are not limited to:*
* Meet with new patients and give them tours of our facility
* Devise detailed treatment and care plans for each of the patients
* Communicate and coordinate with patients’ physicians to ensure a consistent level of care
* Exercise independent judgment based on experience to implement effective treatment combinations
* Evaluate and report on patients’ progress
* Assist administrative staff with billing and reporting inquiries
* Comply with federal and state physical therapy regulations
* Complete at least 30 hours of continuing education every two years including taking ethics and jurisprudence classes every 2 years.
* Supervise physical therapy assistants and therapy technicians under the rules and regulations of the Tennessee Physical Therapy Association
* Submit medical record documentation within 48 hours of date of service
* Assist in marketing as needed to further promote Patterson Physical Therapy as the clinic of choice
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $39.00 - $48.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week

Experience:
* Outpatient: 1 year (Preferred)
* Trigger point therapy: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
* Physical Therapy License (Required)
* Tennessee Physical Therapy License (Required)
