We are looking for enthusiastic Order Pickers to join our Nashville, Tennessee warehouse team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. You will utilize scanning equipment and pick lists to locate and gather items, ensuring precision at every step. Safety is paramount, and all team members must follow strict safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE. This position requires individuals who are detail-oriented, efficient, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity goals for picking and packing.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage.
- Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Participate in regular inventory checks.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Team player with good communication skills.
