Join our dynamic team as a Distribution Center Associate in Portland, Oregon. This role is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient handling of goods within our warehouse. You will be involved in a wide range of activities, including receiving shipments, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for dispatch. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. Physical stamina is essential, as the role requires frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Adherence to all safety protocols and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is non-negotiable. You will work collaboratively with other associates to achieve daily operational targets and contribute to the overall success of our distribution center. Experience in a logistics or warehouse setting is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and storage areas accurately.
- Pick products for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Label and stage outgoing freight.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Capable of consistent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role requiring frequent lifting and standing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse safety principles.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
