Join our bustling distribution center as a Fulfillment Associate in the heart of New York City, New York! We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to contribute to our e-commerce fulfillment operations. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped with speed and precision. This role demands a high level of accuracy and efficiency to meet our service level agreements. You will be handling a variety of products and working with state-of-the-art warehouse technology. Safety is our top priority, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This position requires consistent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or other picking devices.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Process and label shipments for various carriers.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and fulfillment area.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Perform regular Lifting of packages up to 40 lbs.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment within the logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or e-commerce is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a standing and walking role for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform frequent Lifting.
- Understanding of basic Safety practices in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with warehouse technology is a plus.
- Team player with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE.
