Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and speed.
- Prepare shipments for outgoing delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Comply with all company safety policies, including the use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing and walking for long hours.
- Commitment to safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations is beneficial.
