Our Provo, Utah warehouse is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. This role is critical for the efficient movement of materials within our facility and plays a significant part in our overall logistics operations. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to load and unload trucks, move inventory, and transport materials within the warehouse. You will also assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including order picking and stocking. A strong commitment to safety, adherence to operational procedures, and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials
- Load and unload trucks and containers
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas
- Assist with order picking and stocking of goods
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Support other warehouse operations as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics
- Ability to perform lifting tasks, up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with warehouse safety regulations and the importance of PPE
This role requires a skilled and safety-conscious individual to ensure the efficient and secure handling of materials.
