This role involves a variety of tasks essential to our logistics and fulfillment processes, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials efficiently. A strong commitment to safety, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to perform repetitive lifting, and possess excellent attention to detail. Responsibilities:
- Unload and receive incoming shipments
- Verify inventory against purchase orders
- Stock shelves and organize inventory accurately
- Pick and pack customer orders efficiently
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is advantageous
- Ability to perform frequent lifting, up to 50 lbs
- Good physical stamina and dexterity
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of basic logistics principles
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE
This role requires an individual who is physically capable and safety-conscious. The Warehouse Worker plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our logistics network.
