We are actively recruiting a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our warehouse, focusing on the accurate and timely handling of goods. As a Warehouse Associate, you will engage in a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. A strong commitment to Safety and operational excellence is essential. You will work within a fast-paced logistics environment, contributing to the seamless flow of inventory. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, physically capable of performing required duties including significant Lifting, and possess a proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to specifications.
- Stage outgoing shipments for delivery.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Assist in maintaining the overall efficiency of the logistics operations.
- Perform duties requiring moderate to heavy Lifting, up to 60 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Demonstrated ability to perform consistent Lifting of heavy objects.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety best practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and processes.
