Our company is seeking a reliable Warehouse Worker to join our team in San Diego, California. This is a crucial role in managing our inventory and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our logistics facility. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in a wide range of tasks including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are safety-conscious, physically capable, and possess a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock received goods in appropriate warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all safety standards.
- Properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or inventory discrepancies to management immediately.
- Assist in preparing shipping labels and documentation.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics team through diligent work and collaboration.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable. Must possess the physical ability to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, standing, and walking for extended periods. Forklift operation experience and certification are a plus. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks. Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and a dedication to maintaining a safe workspace. Familiarity with inventory management systems and general logistics principles is beneficial. Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the US. Exceptional reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are required. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills are important for coordinating with colleagues and supervisors. Must be comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment. This role requires a motivated individual eager to contribute to a seamless logistics operation.
