We are hiring a Warehouse Associate for our busy facility in Los Angeles, California. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of goods through our logistics operations. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Your contribution is vital to ensuring our inventory is managed effectively and customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and properly store inventory.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (if certified) and pallet jacks.
- Load and unload trucks for both inbound and outbound shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to OSHA and company standards.
- Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times as required.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy checks.
- Assist in maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and report any potential hazards immediately.
- Contribute to team efforts and assist colleagues as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by management.
- Ensure all goods are handled with care to prevent damage or loss.
Previous warehouse experience is preferred. Must be capable of regular lifting (up to 50 lbs) and performing physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, and walking for extended periods. Forklift certification is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential for inventory management and order fulfillment. Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Familiarity with logistics and inventory control principles is beneficial. Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the US. Excellent work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are required. Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse setting. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn are highly valued. This role requires adaptability and the ability to perform various tasks within the logistics chain.
