We are looking for a reliable Order Picker to join our busy warehouse in Orlando, Florida. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and accuracy directly impact our customer satisfaction and the overall success of our logistics operations. You will work with a picking list, locate items using our warehouse management system, and prepare them for packing and shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Verify product codes and quantities before fulfilling orders.
- Operate handheld scanners to track picking progress and update inventory.
- Stage picked items for the packing department.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety rules and procedures.
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
- Assist with stocking shelves and cycle counts as directed.
- Follow all instructions and contribute to team goals in our logistics facility.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and basic inventory control.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift.
- Reliability and a commitment to Safety.
- Effective communication skills.
