Join our thriving logistics operation in Jacksonville, Florida as a Receiving Clerk! We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to manage the inbound flow of goods into our warehouse. This role is essential for accurate inventory management and ensuring that all shipments are processed correctly and efficiently. You will be the first point of contact for incoming deliveries, responsible for verifying shipments against purchase orders, inspecting for damages, and properly documenting all received items. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and products.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect goods for damage or defects and report any discrepancies.
- Enter receiving data into the inventory management system.
- Tag and label received items appropriately.
- Organize and stock received goods in designated warehouse areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and company policies.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, inventory, or a related warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with computers and data entry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting, up to 30 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
