Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent Inventory Clerk to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your responsibilities will include tracking inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, reconciling stock discrepancies, and ensuring that our inventory management system is up-to-date. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy. You will play a crucial role in our logistics and supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using our inventory management system.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Track the movement of inventory within the warehouse, ensuring all transactions are recorded properly.
  • Assist in receiving and put-away processes to ensure accurate stock placement.
  • Monitor inventory levels and alert management to potential shortages or overages.
  • Ensure that all stored goods are organized and properly identified.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting as required for inventory checks and movement.
  • Support the logistics team by providing accurate inventory data and insights.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Inventory Control Specialist, or similar role preferred.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to perform tasks that involve some physical activity, including Lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics principles.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety standards.
  • Good communication skills.
