Job Summary:
We are searching for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring that our stock levels are precise. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be key to optimizing our logistics operations and minimizing losses. This position requires a deep understanding of inventory management systems and best practices.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures and policies.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status, including identifying slow-moving or obsolete items.
  • Manage the receiving, stocking, and shipping processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items to prevent damage or loss.
  • Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and sales teams to optimize inventory flow and meet demand.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE, and warehouse safety protocols.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics and supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, preferably within a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
