We are hiring an Order Picker for our facility in Miami, Florida. This role is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing items from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or RF scanner instructions. Precision and efficiency are key to minimizing errors and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and must be comfortable with physical demands, including frequent lifting and standing for extended periods. Safety is our top priority, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items and quantities specified on order documents.
- Utilize RF scanners to navigate the warehouse and confirm picked items.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Package picked items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Stage completed orders in designated areas for loading.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as stocking or cycle counting.
- Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform lifting (up to 40 lbs) and work on your feet for the duration of your shift.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Understanding of general logistics principles.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Dedication to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
