Our Miami, Florida facility is seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items to fulfill customer orders. This position is crucial for our logistics operations, ensuring that products are selected correctly and prepared for timely shipment. You will utilize RF scanners to navigate the warehouse and locate items, ensuring precision in every pick. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality are essential for success. The role demands physical activity, including frequent lifting and standing for extended periods. We maintain a strong focus on safety, and all employees must strictly adhere to safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items and quantities as specified on customer orders.
- Use RF scanners to locate products and confirm picks.
- Inspect picked items for damage before packing.
- Package orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage completed orders in designated areas for pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures, including correct lifting techniques and the use of required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as stocking shelves or participating in inventory counts.
- Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy targets.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting (up to 40 lbs) and work on your feet for extended shifts.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanners.
- Understanding of logistics processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
