We are looking for a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to manage and oversee daily warehouse operations in St. Louis, Missouri. This role is essential for the smooth functioning of our logistics and supply chain. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, managing inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. You will play a key part in optimizing warehouse efficiency and maintaining high levels of productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel.
- Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts and stock placement.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and ensure optimal functionality.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
- Maintain records of inventory, shipments, and personnel activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure all staff are properly trained and utilize required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Coordinator.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software.
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles and logistics.
- Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in various warehouse conditions.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, including proper use of PPE.
