We are seeking a motivated and diligent Warehouse Associate to join our logistics operations in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the flow of goods within our facility, performing tasks such as receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Your contribution is vital to our supply chain efficiency. We are dedicated to providing a safe and healthy work environment, prioritizing safe lifting procedures and the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming merchandise, ensuring accuracy against manifests.
- Unload trucks and transport goods to appropriate storage locations.
- Pick customer orders accurately and prepare them for shipment.
- Pack products safely and securely, using appropriate materials.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and work areas.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals within the logistics framework.
- Perform other duties as required to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform manual labor, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Understanding of basic warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
- Commitment to safety and the correct application of PPE.
- Reliability and punctuality.
