We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced logistics facility in Durham, North Carolina. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient flow of products through our distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against documentation.
- Store products in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including staging and loading onto transport vehicles.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including regular lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
