As a Prep Cook, you will work closely with chefs and other kitchen staff to create delicious and high-quality dishes for our guests. Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for daily menu items, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Follow recipes and portion controls to prepare meals according to menu specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Help with menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas.
• Handle food safely, ensuring proper storage and labeling of all food items.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Support the culinary team during peak hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks.

Experience

• Previous experience in a culinary role or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
• Familiarity with meal preparation and basic cooking techniques is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
