Job Summary
Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care, support daily activities, and promote independence within a safe, respectful environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
  • Support medication administration following care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for privacy and confidentiality
  • Observe residents' conditions closely, noting changes in behavior or health status, and report findings promptly to healthcare professionals
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring proper infection control practices
  • Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts safely during transfers to prevent injury

Requirements

  • Proven experience in senior care, assisted living, or home & community care settings; group home experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid; additional training in HIPAA compliance preferred
  • Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
  • Strong patient observation skills with the ability to monitor vital signs and recognize health concerns early
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families
  • Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others' well-being and independence
