Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our center. In this vital role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment tailored specifically for infants. As an Infant Teacher, you will play a key part in supporting families by providing high-quality care that promotes early childhood development and emotional well-being. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage sensory exploration, motor skills, and early language development.
- Provide attentive infant care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and monitoring health and safety.
- Create a warm and welcoming classroom environment that promotes curiosity and social-emotional growth.
- Observe and document each child's developmental progress, sharing insights with parents and team members regularly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities that support individual needs, including children with disabilities or special education requirements.
Skills
- Proven experience working with infants or toddlers in daycare, preschool,
- Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to early childhood education.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while fostering a nurturing atmosphere.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members clearly and compassionately.
- Must Have first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $ $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
