Dental Assistant

Job Summary

Chapel Street Dentistry is a small, privately owned family practice in Newark that focuses on quality dental care. We are looking for a dental assistant to join our team short term from 3-6 months.

Duties

• Assist dentists/hygienist during examinations and procedures by taking x-rays, preparing instruments and materials.
• Manage patient flow and ensure a welcoming environment for patients.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and treatment areas according to safety protocols.
• Support the dental receptionist with scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries when needed.
