About the Role

We are hiring an experienced
Data Architect
with strong expertise in
Azure Databricks
to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable data platforms. This role involves hands-on architecture, technical leadership, and close collaboration with product managers and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead
    end-to-end data platform delivery
    , identifying problem areas and driving solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with
    Product Managers and key stakeholders
  • Follow
    Agile development methodologies
    with strategic and execution-focused mindset
  • Design and maintain
    scalable, high-performance data pipeline architectures
  • Build and manage
    large, complex datasets
    meeting business and technical requirements
  • Drive
    optimization, testing, and tooling
    to improve performance and data quality
  • Lead teams building and operating
    high-volume distributed systems
    in a SaaS environment
  • Manage
    capacity planning, growth forecasting, and budgets
  • Establish efficient processes to improve
    delivery velocity and solution quality

Required Experience & Skills

  • 8+ years
    of relevant industry experience
  • 5+ years
    leading complex technical or engineering teams
  • Strong
    hands-on expertise in Azure Databricks
  • Experience with
    Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, and large-scale distributed systems
  • Strong knowledge of
    Medallion Architecture
    , ingestion frameworks, optimization, and data quality
  • Hands-on experience with
    Unity Catalog
    , including governance and observability
  • Strong programming skills in
    PySpark and Python
  • Proven experience designing
    Azure Cloud architectures
  • Knowledge of
    cloud workload orchestration
  • Ability to set and drive
    technical vision
    aligned with business objectives
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with multiple stakeholders

    distributed teams

    APIs, containerization, and orchestration tools
