About Kaleido Behavioral Health

Founded in just September of 2025, Kaleido Behavioral Health has quickly grown into a trusted ABA provider across West & Central Oʻahu. In just a few short months, we have had the privilege of serving 15 families, reflecting our commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality, and culturally grounded care to our island community.

At Kaleido, our promise is simple: ABA with aloha, guided by science and ethics. We honor individuality, embrace play, and celebrate growth in every hue. Our approach is child-centered, compassionate, and rooted in ethical, evidence-based practice.

Mission

To empower children and their families through compassionate, play-based ABA that honors every voice and celebrates every mind.

Vision

We envision a future where every child shines at the center of our community — surrounded by colors of love, guided by play, and supported to grow toward their fullest potential.

Position Overview

Kaleido Behavioral Health is seeking a Part-Time BCBA to join our expanding clinical team in Ewa Beach and Kapolei. This role supports children and families through ethical, high-quality ABA services rooted in play, assent-based care, and strong caregiver collaboration.

This position includes clinical oversight, mentorship of RBTs, and 10-12 treatment hours per week.

We believe meaningful progress comes from intentional, high-quality clinical care—not from maximizing caseloads or numbers. Our team is empowered to focus on depth, compassion, and excellence in every interaction and in every clinical recommendation.

Perks & Benefits

  • 10-12 billable client treatment hours/week
  • $55–$60/hour, based on experience
  • $50 monthly stipend for RBT collaboration & client care
  • Annual stipend for CEUs & professional development
  • Eligibility for quarterly bonuses ($200–$300)
  • 10 days/year of mental health days & sick leave
  • Supportive, values-driven, aloha-centered clinical culture
  • Optional access to AI-generated session note and progress report drafting tools to support documentation efficiency (BCBA retains full authorship & review)
  • Clinical documentation and data collection conducted through Alpaca Health, our HIPAA-compliant, user-friendly ABA platform

Responsibilities

  • Provide BCBA-level supervision, oversight, and ongoing mentorship to assigned RBTs and Lead RBTs accruing their hours for their masters program.
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and update goals based on data
  • Deliver up to 10 hours/week of direct billable treatment services (e.g., 97155, caregiver training)
  • Maintain consistent caregiver communication and support generalization across settings
  • Ensure accurate data-driven decision making using Alpaca Health
  • Uphold ethical, compassionate, assent-based ABA practices
  • Optional: Utilize AI-assisted drafting tools for session notes and progress reports, with BCBA review and approval required for all final documentation

Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing
  • Experience with play-based, child-centered, or assent-based ABA preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Reliable transportation to Ewa Beach & Kapolei
  • Commitment to ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and family-centered ABA
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and implementation of the most up-to-date, evidence-based interventions.
  • Ability to administer, interpret, and integrate results from assessments including the Vineland, PDDBI, SRS, EVT, PPVT, MOTAS, and related measures to guide treatment planning.

At Kaleido, every child's progress is a shared victory, and every teammate plays a vital role in shaping brighter futures across our island community. If you are a BCBA who leads with heart, values purposeful growth, and believes in the power of compassionate, play-based care, we would be honored to welcome you into our team.
