Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to foster a welcoming atmosphere
• Assist shoppers in finding products, answer questions, and offer personalized recommendations to enhance their experience
• Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the store is clean, attractive, and well-maintained
• Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and assisting with merchandising strategies
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience or familiarity with smoke shop environments is preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in a bilingual setting if applicable
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and performing retail math calculations
• Experience with POS systems and cashiering procedures is highly desirable
• Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in growth opportunities within the team
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and standing for extended periods
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and proactive problem-solving abilities
