Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive retail management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Store Manager, you will oversee daily store activities, manage staff, and ensure the store meets its sales and operational goals. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and merchandising.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to foster a high-performing team.
- Manage payroll, scheduling, and employee orientation to ensure efficient shift coverage.
- Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, and purchasing to optimize product availability.
- Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities to maximize sales.
- Handle cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Develop marketing strategies to increase store visibility and drive traffic.
- Manage budgeting, sales management, and retail math to meet financial targets.
- Utilize effective communication skills for team meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure proper merchandising display setup and stock stocking according to company standards.
- Monitor store performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication skills including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS systems, and retail math concepts.
- Experience in employee orientation, training & development, recruiting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and marketing strategies.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques, pricing strategies, merchandising, stock control, and sales management.
- Ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately while maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Strong time management skills with the capacity to oversee shift management and administrative tasks efficiently. This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about retail management and eager to lead a team toward achieving excellence in customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Pay: $70, $90,000.00 per year
